Pre-School Families 

 
Refresh is a café-style group for parents and carers of 0-2’s, held on Tuesday mornings in term time from 10.00 – 11.45am at the church.
Refresh happens every Tuesday apart from school holidays. Refresh restarts on Tuesday 10th September until Tuesday 10th December with a week off for half-term (29th October).

There is toys and space for babies and toddlers. During the morning we serve the adults hot drinks and pastries and drinks and snacks for the children. We come together for someone to share a thought for the week and then we finish with some singing.

The team at Refresh love the children but we particularly love caring for parents, grandparents and carers of young children. We aim to be a welcoming group where there is always a listening ear and words of encouragement.

It is £2 per family per week, paid on the day but if you are unable to afford to come any week then please still come and just have a quiet word with the team member on our welcome desk.

This is an event for all families with pre-school children and those in Reception, held one Sunday a month between 4.00-5.30pm in our Community Centre.

We join together with Messy Church for our Christmas event on Sunday 8th December.

We’ll have a time of free play including role play toys, cars and multi-sensory activities then we’ll have a time altogether with puppets, a Bible story, singing and make a craft to take home. Our time will end with a sandwich tea, that we’ll provide.

All families with pre-school and reception aged children, including babies, are welcome!
