SJC is made up of a diverse and lively community of people and we’d love to have you with us.  All services are charismatic, with Bible-based teaching and a variety of worship styles suitable for all ages. During and after each service there will be opportunity for prayer.

We are an Anglican Church, in the Diocese of Chelmsford and a part of the New Wine network of churches.

There is car parking available on the site and we would encourage you to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the service. We serve refreshments between the two morning services.

Preaching Series for the New Year

From January until just before Easter, we will be exploring the book of Romans’ together – a letter from the Apostle Paul that has transformed so many lives, from John Wesley to David Suchet!  And in which the Apostle Paul explains how the Gospel actually works.

On Sunday’s, in our services,  we are going to dive into the first 11 chapters of Romans , delving into the Biblical text directly.

In our discipleship groups and communities during the week, we will be using the Bible’s Society Roman’s Course to get a broader overview of the whole book of Romans’.  They have great resources to enable us in smaller groups to get to grips with Romans as a whole – and if you aren’t currently in a  midweek group, then please do contact the office or speak to someone on a Sunday!
Small Group Resources – Bible Society

We are looking forward to our Roman journey to start the year, as we delve into the first 11 books on Sunday’s, and look more broadly during the week – we hope you will join us!  We will kick off on Sunday 7th January, with a joint altogether service at 10am, and an evening service at 6:30pm.
